Hi Shannon!, i have read everyone of the vampire series.i have not been disappointed yet.my first book was when darkness falls, after that i was hooked.i ordered beneath a blood red moon and the rest is history.i was so glad when Dead by dusk came out because i thought after the Awakening that was it i was sorely upset.i love Lucian and Ragnor.i do have a ? in the other books you spelled his name Lucian,in this book its spelled lucein.i thought it strange.Anyway thankyou for continuing.i hope you arent finished the vampire series.

From the first book of your vampire series to the mystery series which includes Haunted and the Presence, I've been hooked. I'm not a constant reader, but when I have one of your books, I can't put them down. Thanks for giving me something to keep my mind occupied with. It's great to imagine what your characters would look like. They keep the juices flowing.

I have read several of your books (under Shannon Drake and Heather Graham). I just loved "Knight of Fire" and "Golden Surrender". I just picked up at a used book store "Princess of Fire". I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Brett's mother (Fallon) and father (Alaric)and how their relationship evolved into an enduring love. I have reread several of your titles that I have on my "keeper shelf" and always seem to fall in love with characters as if for the first time. Medievals are probably my utmost favorite romance to read with regencies a close second. I hope you continue to write more in this time period as I love your writing.

The Seminole Indians,The Death and Destruction of the Civil War.The Beautiful scenery all brought to life in your books. I have never been to America(Something I hope to remedy for my 60th this year) I shall be going to relatives in Nth Carolina. Maybe one day I'll get to visit places mentioned in your books. I started out with the book "Knight Triumphant". My friend and I have the same taste in romance books and she just handed me that book and told me to read it. I fell in love with it. I just finished reading "Come the Morning" and I am now starting "Conquer the Night". I can't get enough of it! I really like the stories and the characters are wonderful. I love the time period as well. I plan on reading the whole Graham series. I read a few other comments regaurding the last book in the series. I will say that I don't like reading anything past the 14th century but I have ventured off and read a few by other authors and some of them were excellent! So when I finish with the earlier books in the series, I will be looking forward to reading the "The Queen's Lady". I'm sure I will enjoy it. And on a random note...I got one of my straight guy friends to start reading "Come the Morning". I am very excited to get his opinion on it. Haha

Heather - I don't read any other romance but I have loved your historical romances for years. That said, I am not planning to purchase your latest book, The Queen's Lady. I was really looking forward to the release of this book, but it strays too far from the historical romance of your other books. I have no interst in the vampire or suspense novels. My favorite books include include your early books including the North American Woman series, the Civil War series (Camerons) and the Florida series (McKenzies). Hopefully, you will return to this style and there will be more books and more wonderful families to enjoy.

Hi. I am really nervous because this will be my first time leaving a comment on a website. So please, excuse me if I start to ramble... I think that you are a wonderfully gifted author. I have greatly enjoyed your Graham Family Series, however, I feel compelled to agree with: glynis wrightson England - Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 18:22:22 (PST) I am a die hard fan of Scottish Historic Romance (12th-14th Centuries)so after reading her comments I am to put it in a word, SAD. I just finished Knight Triumphant and am currently looking for the The Lion In Glory @ my local B.Dalton. I have to tell you that to find out that the next book in a series about a passionate and fierce clan of scottish warriors is a Regency Romance is terrible. I will not be purchasing book #6 in the Graham Family Series. I would feel like a traitor. I am loyal to the time in which chivalry was not lost, when loyalty and honor were held above wealth, where there were real men who fought passionately and died for whom they loved and what they believed in. I wish so that I was born centuries ago and though I would probably be a servant or peasant, my beliefs would not be so outdated. I feel that many of your readers who were drawn to the Graham Family Series because of the era in which they lived & the country and beliefs for which they fought, will also turn away. Please, as Glynis asked I also would love for this family to go back a couple centuries and back to Scotland and its people. Yes, it may seem that I have no life but I do have a mind and it begs for the Grahams in 12th-14th century SCOTLAND.....

Oh No!! Whatever has happened to the excellent Graham saga - from medieval Scotland it's skipped several centuries to land in Victorian England - Why? This latest book was not my favourite in the Graham stories and I couldn't relate it to the other books at all. I do hope that "The Queen's Lady" is more in keeping with what I love about this family and I'm afraid that that isn't anything embedded in Victorian England. Why did you decide to move away from medieval Scotland in this latest book, I was disappointed because I don't read Regency romances at all as they are usually all froth and no substance. I would love it if this family saga could just go back a few centuries to when heros were heroic and heroines weren't quite so silly - please.

I have enjoyed your your books immensely, especially the Graham series. I have read many of them more than once. I have read an excerpt from the Queen's Lady in one of them. I am hoping to see the book soon. Have you determined a release date for it? Also, after reading your reviews on the vampire series, I am eager to begin reading those. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your writing. Thank you for the wonderful books, Melissa

I don't understand why you write under so many names when none of them stick to one genre. I thought Shannon Drake books would be all paranormal, but no, there's some regular historical romances under that name too. I don't get it!

Dear Mrs. Graham-Drake-wonderful-author, Tahnk you for the many hours of pleasure you have provided with your books. I can't remember one that didn't live up to my expectations, and am totally awed at how you manage to cover such a wide scale of genre in such a fantastic way.God Bless you and those dear to you, Freddy(Friederike) from over the pond

I just finished reading Runaway and loved it. You gave a preview of the next book in the Florida series which was supposed to be called Undefeated. I had the library gals going nuts trying to find this book. I came home and fortunately found your awesome website and now know the book was actually called Captive. I am looking forward to reading all the books in this series and many more that I have found here. You're wonderful!!
