Talk Ink established an Internet presence with the official launch of Booktalk in July 1996. The site offers authors an opportunity to announce and market new releases to millions of viewers across the globe. In addition, the site offers content of interest to writers, readers and fans.

Booktalk is an online booklovers' community composed of many of today's bestselling and popular authors. Personalized author home pages are complete with excerpts from bestselling novels as well as information about upcoming releases, author notes and personal hobbies and interests as well as publisher, literary agent and bookstore information. Writing related articles by Booktalk authors and others in the writing community and upcoming literary events are also included on Booktalk pages. One visitor filled out an onsite form with this comment: I'm so glad I found you.

In addition to being singled out by Netscape and USA Today Online as a Cool Site, Booktalk receives many entries into its book drawing, held every three months. Numbering in the thousands, Booktalk visitors enter to hopefully receive an autographed book by a favorite author. One winner sent this thank you:

Booktalk Hosting and Website Design:

Websites and design have changed over the years. It's now 2002 and we are currently using Dreamweaver software for most site construction along with the companions Fireworks and Flash. Carla Neggers, Cathy Maxwell, AvonAuthors.com are excellent examples. Sites vary in size, because some authors have 50 or more published books so they are more complicated. Virtually anything is possible and we have the resources to make it all happen. Prices vary accordingly. We do hosting on Booktalk and can register your domain or assist you in it's transfer.
